Recently, Apple released its Game Porting Toolkit (GPT), a new translation layer that combines Wine with Apple's own D3DMetal framework that supports DX11 and DX12. Compared to other methods of installing Windows games on Apple Silicone Macs, this method is a bit harder to set up, but offers DX 12 support.
Using this tool, users have managed to get many titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Diablo IV as well as Hogwarts Legacy running on Apple M1/M2 chips, although the frame rates aren't great by any means.
In addition, Apple also added a "Game Mode" in macOS Sonoma that prioritizes a game's access to CPU and GPU resources while running, and reduces latency for connected AirPods as well as Xbox/PlayStation controllers.
