Moore Threads Releases Updated Driver With Better DirectX 11 Support

This week, Moore threads released a new driver with better DirectX 11 support for its MTT S80 and MTT S70 graphics cards. The driver update also added support for multiple games such as Dota2, Final Fantasy XIV, Escape From Tarkov.

At launch, Moore Threads¡¯ graphics cards only support up to DirectX 9. After multiple months of development, support for DirectX 11 was added in June, allowing much more modern applications to run on the card. Recent driver updates also made popular games such as League Of Legends run much smoother and with better stability, claimed by Moore Threads.

With that being said, driver support for the card is still in its infancy. Even though the card¡¯s raw compute performance is comparable to the Nvidia RTX 3060, it almost never gets fully utilized (and not even close) when running games due to a lack of driver optimizations.
