ByteDance Plans To Step Foot In The E-Book Market

A recent posting to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) indicated that Lemon Inc., a company controlled by ByteDance, filled out an application for a number of businesses related to book publishing.

Called theĦ°8TH NOTE PRESSĦħ, the application is said to concern itself with viewing, and discussing e-books online. This may be a sign of ByteDance diversifying its business further into the ebook market and experimenting with different segments of the consumer market.
