AMD Releases New Line Of Processors Enhanced With 3D V-Cache Technology

AMD released their Ryzen 9 7950X 3D CPU on Tuesday, February 28th alongside their Ryzen 9 7900X 3D CPU. As their name suggests, these processors come with 3D V-Cache technology that helps with both gaming and productivity performances. The 7950X3D comes with a MSRP of 699 dollars, and the 7900X asks for 599 dollars. The 7900X comes with 12 cores with a base clock of 4.4 Ghz and the 7950x has 16 cores with a base clock of 4.2 Ghz.

3D V-Cache on AMD CPUs is nothing new. The Ryzen 7 5800X3D, while only belonging to the Ryzen 7 class of CPUs instead of the Ryzen 9 class, traded blows with the intel i9-12900K in many games and has a MSRP almost 300 dollars lower than Intel¡¯s offering.
